The inside of the bow features a  yellow silk and gold lamé fabric from the 1930s, originally part of a half-made dress that, sadly, never made it to a party. The background fabric is a charming French workwear textile from the 1930s or 1940s, adorned with a delicate star-like pattern. A gold heart, made from fabric discovered at the Brimfield antiques market, is said to have been found in the attic of a Newport mansion and is decorated with a delicate garland of forget-me-nots in gold and silver.
